Sure Carey - I am not even sure that it is a book that you or I would like to read - just heard the title from somewhere. The description on Amazon sounds interesting, but generally I only purchase a book if it's recommended by someone I trust!

I haven't read that book, but I'm always looking for new titles to review. Right now, however, I've got a number in the hopper--it's been too busy for reading, unfortunately. Can you wait until June? :)

A fascinating study, Carey! Always enjoy your posts. By the way, did I read somewhere on your blog that you have read The Dovekeepers? I'm trying to guage whether it's a book worth buying/reading.

This is beautiful. I love how you take this and point back to Christ! Yes, when our lives are hid in Christ, He is our identity.
I love how you put it, "I’m a complete person in Him, the streams of His creativity and love flowing out from me in more than one direction. I am who He created me to be." So we're not a bunch of split-personalities, just people with channels of creativity and love flowing out of us. I like that.
Thank you, I was blessed to stop by.

Hmmm...no cottage school here :( But this tutorial was seriously so easy, once we determined to do it. We're all eagerly anticipating the next one. If art became a daily thing around here, it certainly wouldn't hurt! And we've got a lot of lost art time to make up for! I used to be really stingy with our art supplies because we brought a lot of them with us from Canada, with no idea when they might get replaced, but I decided that was really silly, and it's unleashed their creativity. Now that everyone knows where everything is, it's so much better! We also found a really good art supply store locally, so we can get some student-quality art supplies--all we really need.
