Toughest language on earth? Probably not. My training is in teaching English as a second language, and students often told me that about English.
Am I completely fluent? No, not yet. But we’ve found some great tools to help in the language learning process, and the best advice is to jump in with both feet and put yourself in situations where you can’t use English. Fortunately, in China those situations are easy enough to come by!
